This is the bit where we head out and hit the open road and into the loving embrace of Mother Nature.
Only a short drive from the city, find yourself deep in the primordial landscape of the Dandenong Ranges, with its towering forests and lush gullies. Or, take a turn in the opposite direction and find pristine coastlines and iconic driving routes along the Great Ocean Road.
Oh, and did we mention the mountains? And the hiking? And the waterfalls? The Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park has all three, and more, with epic views, rocky outcrops and abundant bushland. Or, deep in the mountainous valleys of the High Country put your legs to the ultimate test on a climb through the alpine ranges, surrounded by nothing but, you guessed it, mountains!
