With more live music, played on more stages than any other city, Melbourne is well known as Australia’s home of live music. However, recent global events have had a significant impact on the industry. It’s now more important than ever before to get out and support our much-loved live music venues, the artists and the wider music community.
To celebrate and support this community, a one-of-a-kind electric guitar has been created, made from timber taken from four of Melbourne’s most iconic live music venues – The Tote, The Espy, The Corner Hotel and Cherry Bar.
The guitar and its story is celebrated in ‘Made From Melbourne’, a documentary exploring live music and the fight to keep it alive in Melbourne – told by artists, industry figures and our passionate live music community.
